On Altizure Planet, you can unlock the power of your 3D model with a set of interactive measurement tools. Create points at measured intervals along the length or perimeter of an object in order to obtain measurement data. The results are available real-time on the collaboration platform and can be reached from any devices with web browser. With the tools, you can deliver accurate survey data in a fast and exact way.

How to use the measurement tools

Step 1: Click “Tools” in the toolbar

Step 2: Select the tools

Step 3: Start measuring the 3D model

i. Distance

1. Left click to specify the first point of the polyline.
2. Specify the endpoint of the first polyline segment.
3. Continue specifying segment endpoints as needed.
4. Right click to end.

ii. Area

1. Left click to specify the first point of the polyline.
2. Specify the endpoint of the first polyline segment.
3. Continue specifying segment endpoints as needed.
4. Define an area by clicking the right mouse button.

iii. Triangle

1. Specify the first corner of the right triangle
2. Drag the cursor and specify the second corner of the right triangle.

iv. Volume

1. Left click to specify the first point of the polyline.
2. Specify the endpoint of the first polyline segment.
3. Continue specifying segment endpoints as needed.
4. Define an area by clicking the right mouse button.
5. Drag the slider in the panel to adjust the height of the top plane

Step 4:Change the properties of the object.

After you perform the measurement, the panel will be showed up. Simply change the properties (such as pin height, opacity of the object, line width and so on) in order to makes details vividly present to your team and clients.
